How it Works
The HBAA EnergyKey Program was developed in partnership with the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs and Southface Energy Institute. This voluntary program will give Alabama a statewide energy efficiency program developed by builders, for builders. The program stresses compliance with established energy benchmarks, with expansion to include water and waste reduction features, creating a truly “green” home potential.
